Lessons Not Learned

by The Chiropractor's Wife | Jul 26, 2021 | chiropractic care, Foundational Health, The Chiropractor's Wife

The Chiropractor’s Wife has been a little “needy” this summer…  After a couple of big bumps and bruises I’ve been very grateful for not only The Chiropractor’s skills and expertise in getting me fixed up, but also his patience with me as I sometimes want to do...
I Didn’t Die!

I Didn’t Die!

by The Chiropractor's Wife | Jan 26, 2021 | Chiropractic, chiropractic care, foot pain, Foundational Health, Joint Health, pain management, The Chiropractor's Wife

We started a new thing in the office last fall and I realized I’d never included it in the blog.  It’s a foot treatment and honestly I thought it was a little strange when The Chiropractor first described it to me (not the first time I’ve had that...

Cooking for The Chiropractor: Chicken Salad

by The Chiropractor's Wife | Jan 12, 2021 | Foundational Health, nutrition, The Chiropractor's Wife, vegetables, whole30

I’ve had more than one person ask me, after they’ve gotten to know my husband a little bit (or after he’s gotten excited about one of his nutrition topics in response to someone asking a health related question), “so what do you guys...

Gingerbread Houses and Genetic Conditions

by The Chiropractor's Wife | Dec 16, 2020 | Foundational Health, holiday eating, Nutrition, vegetables

When I married The Chiropractor, there was a unique reason why my brother’s wife was especially excited for him to join the family.  (Aside from the chiro care he brought along.)  His healthy eating and hence my catering to his healthy eating (eh, more or...
The Twelve Veggies of Christmas

The Twelve Veggies of Christmas

by The Chiropractor's Wife | Dec 1, 2020 | nutrition, The Chiropractor's Wife, vegetables

This started as an Instagram post last year but I realized this might also be a good place to share… The Monday morning after Thanksgiving last year I woke up and could hardly move.  I was incredibly stiff and just felt terrible overall.  I was scheduled for a...

Experiences from a Newbie

by The Chiropractor's Wife | Nov 18, 2020 | 21-Day Cleanse, Foundational Health, Nutrition, nutrition, supplements, The Chiropractor's Wife

“The Cleanse.”  It’s become its own entity. I’m not talking coffee enemas, apple cider vinegar for 3 days, or excessive fasting.  The cleanse I’m referring to is a 21-day detoxification program designed by Standard Process, a supplement...

About Me

I'm a BYU music ed grad who went on to become a pediatric music therapist in Texas, where I met and married my chiropractor husband (with a whole lot happening in between). While I can barely differentiate between an occiput and a sacrum and really have no business being on a chiropractic website, I can tell you that everything you read here will be based on my real life experience of being married to Brandt. From endless discussions about gut health to encouragement to try barefoot running to his own fast lasting five days--it's a great, kind of weird, life--and one I wouldn't trade for anything.
